Space! is a resource management, cooperative placement game where players must work together to ensure all the customers of the Interstellar Relocation Agency find their best new homes.

Based on the research carried out by Dr. Oliver Buckley at the School of Computer Sciences, University of East Anglia, Space! uses an algorithm-based mechanic to connect players to similar algorithm-based initiatives used by authorities around the world to relocate refugees and the narrative of refugee relocation. This particular research focuses on the inclusion of refugee preferences as well as those willing to provide asylum.
